Jordin Sparks shares photo of husband gently holding their baby son on his 1st Fathers' Day

Just a month after giving birth to her son, Jordin Sparks celebrates her husband's first Father's Day with their little family by posting a touching tribute.

In the photograph, her husband Dana could be seen laying on the bed while carrying their son on his chest. The father-and-son duo could also be seen holding hands, with the proud father cherishing the precious moment.

Likewise, proud wife Jordin gushed abouther love, saying that her life changed in the most beautiful way when she met him. The singer proceeded to thank her husband for being the "most amazing man [she] knows", and bringing light and joy into her life

"Thank you for being the most amazing man I know. For bringing me so much light & joy. For making me a Mommy. For constantly building me up & making me better. For loving me & loving DJ. He’s going to grow to be an incredible human because he has you to help lead & guide him as his Daddy. I couldn’t ask for a better husband to walk this life with. This world is crazy and I am so glad we found each other. You are my heart. It doesn’t matter what lifetime or universe we’d find ourselves in, I’d choose you every time."

The couple welcomed their son Dana Isaiah Thomas Jr., last May 2, and the proud couple has been sharing bits and pieces of their bundle of joy's first few weeks on Instagram.

The doting mom shared a close up photo of their son sticking her tongue out while wearing an adorable blue girraffe onesie that says "mommy loves me".

Their precious son, whom they nicknamed "DJ", looks precious in the photographs posted by the 28-year-old American Idol winner, peacefully sleping in most of them.

"My new normal. I love it. Look at that face! He’s gotten so big already!"

Jordin has gotten used to motherhood, saying that her "new normal" was to take care of their son. Now that she and her husband have a little boy together, it has made her look forward to their future even more.

Sparks previously dated fellow singer Jason Derulo from 2011 to 2014, but their relationship eventually ended. In July 2017, Sparks began dating Thomas, a fitness model in Hawaii. The couple quickly got married in October, and revealed that she was pregnant a month after in November, and that they were expecting a baby boy.

Now that the couple is overjoyed by the arrival of their son, the two of them want nothing more but a happy life ahead for the three of them.
