Steve Harvey shares picture of his wife in plunging black dress on their 11th anniversary
Steve Harvey celebrated 11 years of bliss with his wife Marjorie by posting a stunning photo of her. He shared the snap just months after he defended his wife against a social media uproar involving her use of the “R” word.
Steve Harvey loves his wife, and he affirmed that when he shared a beautiful photo of her on their 11th year anniversary.

The 53-year-old was a sight to behold flaunting her cleavage in a plunging black dress as she posed solo in the pic. She also revealed a glimpse of her other body parts through the sheer cut-outs of her shimmering long-sleeved ensemble. Keeping her jewelry to a minimum, Marjorie highlighted her flawlessly made-up face with a pair of diamond drop earrings while neatly tying her hair in a half ponytail. Her husband who was missing from the picture was possibly the man behind the camera who also gushed about his lovely wife as he paid tribute to her in his caption.
“This woman has given me the absolute best years of my life happy anniversary darling ....I love you @marjorie_harvey”
Back in April, the comedian showed his support for Marjorie when he defended her against internet bashers who accused her of misusing a word in one of her posts.
Marjorie had shared a video of the couple making fruits and veggies and happened to use the word “r___ed” to describe herself in the kitchen.
“I’m sitting here arguing with my husband, ’cause clearly he thinks I’m r—–ed [and] I don’t know how to cut a beet.”
Unknowingly, her words had caused a tirade of comments from followers who saw her use of the ‘R’ word as offensive. Over 3,000 hateful messages flooded her post including the following.
“As somebody who works with adults with Developmental Disorders and a loving sister of a beautiful woman with Down Syndrome, I can assure you that when the word retard is used in a derogatory manner it is EXTREMELY offensive. People need to educate themselves.”
“It wasn’t until I had my third daughter who has Down Syndrome that I realized how offensive the R word can be. As a mother to a child with special needs hearing this word is truly heartbreaking and makes my stomach turn.”
As a concerned husband, Steve jumped to his wife’s defense and expressed his dismay at people’s reactions regarding his wife’s post.
“What you trippin bout cause my wife said the wordr—–ed… it’s a word ain’t it?” he commented on the post. “And she ain’t talking bout nobody but herself to me … What she was doing was just that and she ain’t saying it bout nobodies baby… I don’t ever comment but [damn] is you just looking for something to be pissed off about cause we ain’t… and I wrote it r—–ed. NAH!!”
Marjorie on her part couldn’t help but be amused in her reply as she wrote a series of laughing emojis while describing her husband as crazy for reacting to the uproar.
“I tried to stop him…. but y’all know he crazy and don’t play about me,”
But the harm had been done as people were further prompted to respond to Steve’s rant.
“Steve Harvey, doubling down in defense of hate speech. What a brave warrior for free speech. What a civil rights icon. (What an a—hole.)”
“Instead of defending the use of the word I think it would speak VOLUMES if you would admit that it wasn’t the right word to use even in a playful unrelated scenario and going forward you will find other words to use as this word is extremely offensive! Just my thoughts — hoping your ears are open and that God will grant you wisdom and change hearts one at a time! Think of the awareness you two could bring being in the public light!”
Though the couple seemed to have lost some love from their followers, they certainly gained a lot of love for each other after this incident. More reason to be celebrating their anniversary after their show of solidarity.
