Dog gives birth to 11 puppies, gently places them in foster mom's hands (video)
Perhaps the experience of being a new mother was overwhelming for Grayce the pit bull who decided to place all her puppies into her foster mother, Stevoni Wells Doyle’s lap.
The viral video was shared by a channel named Videoinspirational on YouTube on February 3, 2017.
Grayce gave birth to 11 puppies – 10 boys and a girl – at her foster home in Utah. It had just been a couple of days when she was perhaps feeling a little overwhelmed.

She then decided to place all of her babies into her foster mother’s lap. Speaking to Dodo, the foster mother, Stevoni Wells Doyle, said maybe she was still unsure as a new mother.
“I think she feels unsure still as a new mom. And she needed love and reassurance from someone she loves and trusts,” Doyle said.

The video clip beings with Doyle sitting on her couch, while Grayce is placing all her puppies into her lap. She had already put nine puppies and is placing the remaining two.
It is also incredible that the pit bull began trusting Doyle so soon considering she had been living with her for about three weeks when the incident took place.
This was not a stray episode in the foster mother’s life. She has been taking hundreds of dogs in for a spell because, she believes, the animals need humans. She added, “We are their voice and need to protect them.”
She said that she had not witnessed a dog mother handing over her puppies in the way the dog did. And Doyle felt honored Grayce chose to trust her with her puppies and herself.
The pit bull was neglected in her previous home, and she needed someone she could love and a safe environment to have her puppies.
The dog and her puppies were up for adoption to families in Utah. The process was facilitated by the animal rescue group, Rescue Rovers.
