'Music City' star Jessica Mack got engaged

Singer-songwriter Jessica Mack spoke about her fiancé Andreas Plackis and how he popped the question in an extravagant proposal.

Popular Arkansas-based singer Jessica Mack is thrilled about being officially engaged to Andreas Plackis, whom she dated for 7 months.

Mack and Plackis first met each other at their common church in Nashville, and the newly engaged star shared that it was easy and fun to be with him.

Speaking to People, the Music City star stated that her fiancé was a man of strong faith, and soon after the duo began spending time together, she realized that she felt a strong attraction towards him.

Mack also spoke in detail about the dreamy way in which Plackis proposed to her.

For several months, the couple had begun penning their feelings in a book that they exchanged back and forth, and it was found that one page had gone missing from the book.

Under the pretext of finding this page, Plackis set up a scavenger hunt for Mack, leaving her a trail of clues that would help Mack locate the missing page.

After collecting the clues, Mack saw that all of them together put together revealed one final clue – the Centennial Park.

Plackis accompanied her to the park and lead her in the vicinity of a huge tree. Mack continued searching around, but with no success, she gave up and approached Plackis for help.

At that point, Plackis handed over the missing page to Mack under one condition: that she would open it on a count of three and follow the instruction written on the piece of paper.

Saying this, Plackis immediately turned away. After counting to three, Mack opened the page to find the words “Turn around” written on it.

She obliged, and to her surprise, she found Plackis reach out to his pocket and bring out a ring box. On bended knee, he asked her to marry her.

Mack shared that the dramatic gesture had overwhelmed her, and after taking a few moments to calm down, she happily agreed.

Plackis had also planned the rest of the day for the duo. They went on to enjoy an intimate dinner and Mack received another surprise for the night in the form of a surprise engagement party.

Speaking of the engagement ring, Mack said that it was a family-inherited 1.07 solitaire diamond embellished on a rose-gold band.

Mack and Plackis have also set a date for their wedding – they plan to tie the knot on August 25 in her Arkansas home.
