'DWTS' season 13 winner ties the knot with long time girlfriend
Dancing With the Stars Season 13 champ J.R. Martinez was recently married to his longtime girlfriend and mother of his child, Diana Gonzalez-Jones.
According to their page on The Knot, the pair exchanged vows on the beach in Tulum, Mexico. Their special day was shared with their closest friends and family.
Martinez looked the part of a dashing groom in his gray suit and pink tie. The actor, who survived an explosion in 2003 in Iraq while serving the U.S. Army, was barefoot, as shown on the photos gathered by the Daily Mail.
As for the bride, Gonzalez-Jones wore a stunning mermaid gown which hugged her body perfectly. Her low-cut neckline was embellished with crystals that complemented her diamond earrings and bracelet
She had her brunette locks down but pulled back on top with her long veil completing the bridal look.
Along with the people present at the wedding was the couple’s five-year-old daughter, Lauryn Anabelle.

Martinez and Gonzalez-Jones first met in 2008, when the 35-year-old actor bagged the role of Brot Monroe on ABC’s All My Children.
Gonzalez-Jones was the assistant of the show’s executive producer at the time.
They didn’t become a romantic couple right away. The two first became very good friends. It was only until 2010 when Martinez suggested that they should go on a date.
Talking about their relationship with People in 2011, Gonzalez-Jones said, “All this time I was looking for the perfect guy, and I had him right next to me. We were so good as friends that romantically we clicked right away.”
On the same year, just a month after Martinez took home the Mirrorball trophy on Dancing With the Stars, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child.
In May 2012, they welcomed Lauryn into the world. Unfortunately, almost two years since her birth, her parents announced that they were separated.
Despite the brief split, they eventually got back together and announced their engagement in November 2017.
Taking the news to Instagram, Martinez wrote along with a series of photos, ‘It wasn’t easy but we did it. Now we’re doing it. Who cares that our daughter was crying due to the fact that she fell right before and hurt her knee. We were basking in joy!’
