Critically missing adult alert issued for 19-year-old believed to have been abducted
Virginia State Police issued an Alert for a missing 19-year-old woman
Megan Lorraine Metzger, 19, was last seen on the 17th of July 2018 in Pamplin, Virginia. Authorities believe she may have been abducted and in danger since the car she was driving was found burnt, as revealed in a post on the Virginia State Police official Twitter.
The white 2004 Mazda 4-door sedan was registered to a Metzger family member and was found a short time later completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire was clearly arson, but no body was found inside and Police believe that Metzger may still be alive.
Metzger was described as having blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5'5 tall and weighs 150 pounds. VSP describe her one distinguishing mark as a 5-inch scar on her right arm, police said
"The incident remains under investigation and the Westmoreland County Sheriff's Office is working with the Virginia State Police to locate a 19-year-old Pamplin woman who has been reported missing,"
