Better known for his portrayal of Dr. Alex Karev in the ABC medical drama series "Grey's Anatomy," Justin Chambers is a heartthrob among fans of the series. He has played the swoon-worthy doctor since the beginning of the series back in 2004, stealing hearts left and right with his charming smile.

However, Justin's personality couldn't be farther from his character when it comes to his love life.

The 48-year-old talented actor married his wife, Keisha Chambers, back in 1993 and they have been together since then. Keisha is a gorgeous African-American woman, and they met when Justin was working as a model for a Calvin Klein campaign and she was a model agency booker back in the early '90s.

The couple has five beautiful kids: Isabella, 23, twins Maya and Kaila, 20, Eva, 18, and son Jackson, 15

They recently moved from their home in a suburb in New York to Los Angeles so that they could be closer to Justin as he films the series.

For the actor, there's nothing better than seeing his kids smile, and he has stated on several occasions that as long as his family is happy, he'll be happy too.

Recently there were some rumors going around that Justin and Keisha were considering having baby number six. However, Justin put a stop to those rumors, as he explained that yes, they were looking to expand the family, but not with another baby.

He said in an interview with Good Housekeeping:

“No, no, no. We just got two rescue dogs. Of course, we got two, and not one. I guess we can't do anything in moderation — but they're little dogs, so it's like they add up to one regular-size dog.”

The Chambers family decided to adopt not one but two furry companions, bringing their family to a total of seven members.

When asked about his secret to maintaining such a long-lasting relationship, Justin revealed:

"We've been together for so long that I really don't know any other way to be. I can remember lying in bed with her years ago and having conversations about our grandparents — and now our grandparents are gone. We've gone through that together, and now our parents are getting older and we're going through that together."

And continued:

"Every relationship has its ups and downs, but I'm glad I get to go through the ups and downs with her. I just feel really fortunate to have found someone who will be my partner on this journey."
