When the famous TV show ended, James never stopped taking small roles in different series and movies. Some of the most important were Smart Guy, The Kids from Room 402, and The Vampire Diaries.

However, the project wherein he has worked for longer is The Young and the Restless. James has been taking the role of Devon Hamilton since 2004 and he is one of the favorite characters of the soap opera.

Apart from acting, he has taken many voiceover gigs. Some of the most remarkable ones are Young Justice, a project where he is still working on voicing Virgil Hawkins (also known as Static), and Star Wars Rebels, voicing Zare Leonis.

Thanks to the photos he has uploaded to his Instagram account, his fans and followers could notice how much he has changed in comparison with the young boy who portrayed Riche Crawford 20 years ago.

The first thing that people notice is James’ hair. The most remarkable aspect of Riche was his long, curly hair. Nowadays, James opts for shaving his head as bald as possible.

Another feature that changed in James’ body was that he has tattoos now. Throughout all these years, he has added some ink in his arms, legs, and torso that completely took away the childish look he had.

James and his The Young and the Restless co-star Christel Khalil have been friends for a long time. He has admitted many times that they basically grew up together and that they have gone through similar experiences in their adult lives.

Since he is an only child, Khalil is the closest thing he has to a sibling. Even though James has no children, he is the godfather of Ford, the son of his soap opera’s co-star Daniel Goddard.
