Loni Love rocks long braids and purple make-up in recent picture

Loni Love was feeling the weekend vibes when made sure to greet her fans a "Happy Friday" on Instagram by posting a selfie of herself rocking long braids and bold purple makeup.

The "The Real" co-host looked glowing in a selfie she posted on Instagram last Friday, where she was all smiles while sporting her signature braided hair and purple eyeshadow. While the beautiful selfie alone could've sufficed to make the day of her fans, she made sure to greet them all a "Happy Friday," that got everybody excited for the weekend.

Recently, Loni was trending on social media when rumors circulated of her getting kicked off of her famous daytime show "The Real". Days after taking home a Daytime Emmy with the rest of her co-stars, she had to face reports that she got fired from the talk show to be replaced by a white woman.

According to a report by OK! Magazine, Love was allegedly fired because she comes off as such a "dismissive and disengaged" host when it comes to certain topics. Another issue that arose was the fact that producers had reportedly wanted the show to be "less Black", with plans of replacing the stand-up comedian with a white host. The talk show is currently led by women of color, including African-Americans Love and Tamera Mowry-Housley, Asian-American Jeannie Mai, and Latina Adrienne Bailon-Houghton.

Loni made sure to clear the air and address the rumor, saying that it is so far from the truth. On their hit show, she began joking around about the situation, clearly saying how false the rumor was.

“You know, I’m just glad security let me back in this morning, because I’m not sure if you heard or not, a gossip blog site started a rumor over the weekend that I was getting fired and replaced by a White girl! Look at that! Why did they have to use that picture?”

Now that all the rumors have been put to rest, the host has been going about her usual business, posting hilarious content and occasionally, motivational ones on her Instagram, including the selfie that definitely kicked off the weekend vibes for a lot of people.
