Serena Williams' daughter Olympia snatches hearts in nurse outfit with full head of hair in pic

Serena Williams, one of the tennis players with more trophies in history, used her Instagram account to share a picture of her daughter, Olympia, wearing a cute nurse shirt.

In the post, the 11-month-old girl was sitting on a green and white polka dot bed looking directly at the camera. Her curly hair was messy, an aspect that made her look even more beautiful.

Olympia was wearing a white shirt that had a red cross in the middle of a rectangle that looked like the hats that nurses wear in hospitals. The following message was written on it: ‘Relax. My aunt’s a nurse.’

In the caption, the proud mother pointed out that her daughter was helping her and that the shirt was a gift from her aunt, Amy.

While the photo has got over 225,000 likes, it doesn’t have a single comment on it. Even though Serena has not said anything about it, the most likely thing that happened was that she blocked that feature.

She probably did that because, a few days before posting that image, the tennis player and her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, were involved in a negative incident related to racism.

THE TWITTER INCIDENT

Everything began when Lacy McMullen Jr., a Twitter user, took to the worldwide known social media site to share a meme in which he put together two photos and a cruel message.

The image on the left showed Alexis holding Serena in his arms while both of them were smiling at the camera. The one on the right portrayed a member of the Ku Klux Klan holding a smiling black woman in his arms.

Lacy added the message: ‘when you forget who you are, you too forget who they are,’ which was a clear way to express his discomfort over interracial marriage and relationships.

ALEXIS' RESPONSE

As a way to defend their relationship, Alexis replied by adding a link to a Wikipedia entry about the Armenian Genocide. Chris Ohanian, Alexis’ father, is of Armenian descent.

The man’s grandparents went to the US after the historic massacre in which the Ottoman government exterminated 1.5 million Armenians during and after World War I.

However, the argument didn’t end there as more people attacked Alexis saying that the Armenians initiated the conflict and that Reddit was one of the most racist discussion websites.

No matter how many people are against Serena and Alexis’ romance, they have a beautiful family, and they always do their best to shower Olympia with love.
