67-year-old Kirstie Alley was the first celebrity to be introduced in the recently premiered newest season of the Channel 5 reality, and she made sure to make a stylish entrance, as Stars At 60 reported.

Alley is probably the best-known face among the cast of the upcoming season of CBB, and on August 17 the show’s host Emma Willis gave her a reception that was in accordance to her celebrity stature.

“When I saw your name, my jaw hit the floor,” Willis admitted to Alley, who enjoyed a great deal of fame in the 80’s and 90’s. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa

The “Look Who’s Talking” actress wore a starred black blouse, velvet bell pants and matching long overcoat, adding bright pink shoes adorned with laces to the luxurious ensemble.

Alley, who famously lost about 50 pounds recently, following years of struggle with her fluctuating overweight problem, which has been linked to the ups and downs of her Hollywood career, let her hair down and styled into voluminous waves.

Her appearance at the British TV show serves as a comeback for Alley, who had been out of the public eye for a while. But the show also benefits from her involvement, with some sources claiming she has “saved” it from being canceled.

The treatment she has been given so far in CBB could be an evidence of how important she is for the series, as she was immediately appointed “secret” House President.“You are the first to enter the house but BB has a much bigger role for you than First Lady. You will be the president and have special powers and privileges,” Big Brother announced to Alley.

Alley made herself a name with her role as bar manager Rebecca Howe in the hit sitcom series “Cheers,” which ran from 1982 to 1993, with the actress joining the cast in 1987.

She made her big screen debut in 1982 as part of "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", but she became a household name for co-starring the film franchise “Look Who’s Talking” alongside actor John Travolta during the 90’s.

Following a considerable weight-gain after experiencing an early menopause and not changing her unhealthy habits, as she has admitted, Alley starred in "Fat Actress" in 2005 to reflect on how her figure had taken a toll on her career.

While denouncing how she was set apart in the industry because of her weight, Alley served as a spokesperson for weight loss, working with diet expert Jenny Craig, sharing her journey on Oprah and appearing in "Dancing With The Stars."
