Weeks after the Gumball 3000 Rally ended, Eve's husband Maximillion Cooper is still on a high. He recently shared a photo from the race's first day where he and his wife stole the scene riding a vintage luxury car in matching outfits.

It’s been weeks since this year’s Gumball 3000 Rally kicked off at the Covent Garden in London. This year’s event was pretty special because it was a celebration of the luxurious race’s 20-year-run. And Maximillion Cooper, aka Eve’s husband and founder of the prestigious race, was still feeling nostalgic last week when he shared a photo from the start of the event.

On August 5, a group of luxury car enthusiasts embarked on a journey that spanned two continents as part of the 2018 Gumball 3000 festivities. Participants sped their way from London’s Convent Garden to France and Italy before flying out to Japan where the race culminated in Tokyo.

At the beginning of the race, Cooper and his wife sat comfortably inside an Aston Martin as they waved at fans who lined up at the starting point. The couple wore matching outfits as they geared up for the competition. Cooper shared a photo of this on his Instagram recently, and gushed about what an “epic journey” it turned out to be.

“Setting off from #coventgarden in the #AstonMartin #DB6feels like months ago! What an epic journey this years #gumball3000 from #londontotokyo has been! #20thanniversary #gumballlife #gumballfamily

The Gumball 3000 rally is particularly special to Cooper and Eve because it was also the site of their first meeting. A race car enthusiast herself, Eve met her husband during a 2010 rally she participated in. Four years later, they wed in Ibiza, where the rally’s 2014 event culminated.

Throughout this year’s race, the pair would share photos from the places the race took them to. In one photo Eve posted two weeks ago, they were about to board a plane for Japan. They stood on the tarmac beside a red sports car and with a plane behind them. The photo represented the glamorous life the couple share, born out of their passion for fast cars.

In 2016, Eve opened up about her marriage and gushed about how real it is.

“We respect each other, we are the realest. It’s the realest relationship I’ve ever had. He’s my homie. All those sound like cliches but really it’s working.”

Still working on having kids together, Eve also shared that they’re having fun trying. She gets annoyed though when people keep asking her about giving her husband a child.

“It annoys me because one time, one of my friends, a male friend said to me, ‘When are you going to give my friend some kids? As a man you don’t — anyone! No one should do it. We are trying, for anybody who is asking, but it’s up to God and the universe. Just stop asking questions.”

Meanwhile, Eve is a stepmother to her husband’s four children which gives her enough practice for when she has her own.
