Remember Vanessa's boyfriend Robert on 'The Cosby Show'? He is a proud father of two growing kids

Dondre Whitfield, best known as Robert, Vanessa Huxtable’s boyfriend on “The Cosby Show,” has been sharing photos on his Instagram account showing his children.

One of them showed him and his daughter, Parker, next to the actor’s two “Baller Babies.” In the caption, Dondre admitted that he took the three girls to the Warner Bros. studios while he did “some ADR” for the OWN TV show “Queen Sugar.”

After that, they spent some quality time eating, talking, and watching a movie together in what seemed to be a fun day.

“I see so much promise for their future and the trajectory of their life. I want them and my other Firestormz baller babies to know that I will always be their coach and a Man they can always depend on,” added Dondre.

Days later, Dondre uploaded a different post showing Parker posing next to Captain Stephanie Johnson, who, according to the caption, is the first black female in Delta Airlines.

Finally, the proud father shared a picture portraying his son, Dre, wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers’ jersey while posing next to MLB star Yasiel Puig. In the caption, Dondre revealed that he and Dre were at the ceremony held by the baseball team.

He added that thanks to Puig’s donation, a baseball field would be constructed for “our undeserved youth.” In all those three photos, Dondre’s happiness and excitement were clearly visible, proving how proud he is about being a father.

DONDRE’S ROMANTIC LIFE AND CAREER

The actor married fellow actress Salli Richardson in 2002. So far, they have welcomed only two children to the world: Parker and Dre. After “The Cosby Show,” Dondre worked in several different projects, including “All My children,” “The Crew,” and “Between Brothers.”

At the moment, he is portraying Remy Newell in “Queen Sugar,” a role that got him nominated for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

MALCOLM-JAMAL WARNER AND HIS FAMILY

Dondre is not the only former member of “The Cosby Show” who has had children. Malcolm-Jamal Warner, best known as Theo Huxtable, welcomed his baby daughter in 2017.

Malcolm, who is an actor, musician, director, producer, and writer, has kept most aspects of his life as private as possible. However, he has been using his social media account to share a couple of tidbits of his life.

One of those aspects of his life is his daughter. Even though all the pictures the man has shared on Instagram don’t show her face, it is clear that he is a very happy father.

After the birth of the baby, Malcolm uploaded a picture of his adorable newborn baby girl rocking a cute onesie with the inscription "Happy 1st Father’s Day, daddy."

THE ACTOR’S CAREER

When “The Cosby Show” ended, Malcolm worked in many other TV series and films, including “Here and Now,” “Malcolm & Eddie,” and “Sneaky Pete.”

At the moment, Malcolm is working on “Suits,” where he portrays Julius Rowe.
