Here is why Keyshia Ka'oir reportedly hid her children
Keyshia Ka'Oir received a ton of backlash after getting married to rapper Gucci Mane last year. The rumor going around was that she had three grown children abandoned in Jamaica, but she finally cleared her name in an interview with "The Breakfast Club."
Fans were supposed to be congratulating Keyshia Ka’oir after finally getting married to her long-time boyfriend, Gucci Mane, but that was not the case.
It was a special day for the couple, but some ill-intentioned people gathered on their social media pages, throwing around conspiracy theories about Keyshia abandoning her children to chase Gucci Mane, marry him and then move on with her life without acknowledging the kids.
Ka'oir made sure to tweet about the rumors, slamming down the haters with a simple sentence. And later, to make sure there were no doubts about her statement, she addressed the stories once again during her visit to the popular radio show "The Breakfast Club."
In the midst of the barrage of hateful comments, Keyshia commented on all the rumors:
“I am like, 'Damn, we was just y'all relationship goals yesterday!' Now we getting married today, and all you want to come for me with all these abandoned children in Jamaica [rumors]. People were Photoshopping four kids with Gucci in the middle!”
She went on to admit that she and Gucci do have children, but they prefer to keep them out of the spotlight because the internet is cruel and filled with haters. She said:
"Gucci and I both have children, we do. It’s a situation where I’m proud to be a mother but at the same time I need it to be private. I don’t want kids in the limelight, I don’t want them on social media. I want them to go to school and just be children."
She also revealed that all the kids, (she didn't specify how many there are), were at the wedding, saying:
"They all live with us. We have a blended family and we have fun, they spoiled and they happy. They were ALL at the wedding. Just because we don't show them to you doesn't mean we're bad parents or we're hiding them....the internet, they're bullies and trolls - and children are vulnerable."
The news indeed took fans by surprise, as no one expected Keyshia, 32, to admit she had children.
