Patti LaBelle, 74, stuns in silver sequined dress, flaunting her legs in recent picture
The African-American singer and actress is a contemporary of the late Aretha Franklin, and is known as the Godmother of Soul for her hauntingly beautiful voice.
Patti LaBelle is set to perform in her home town of Philadelphia, and later took to her Instagram account to share a beautiful snap of herself from the night, wearing an utterly beautiful dress.
In the image, the singer wore a silver coat dress with embroidered embroidered across the entire garment. As is the fashion nowadays, the skirt created a mullet affect, with the hemline hanging above her knees in the front, and dragging across the stage behind her.
The dress also featured long sleeves and a high collar.
The image showed her sharing a passionate moment of the song with her likely enthralled audience.
She captioned the shot: "Thursday night in Philadelphia. I love my city!" with a number of added credits regarding her hair and makeup looks for the night.

Following the passing of Aretha Franklin on August 16, LaBelle performed her hit "You Are My Friend" for the Queen of Soul at one of her concerts.
The performance is set to be shown at Franklin's funeral service on August 31 in Detroit at the Greater Grace Temple, after the singer's life was celebrated all week at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
LaBelle was the first person that Franklin had requested to perform at her memorial service, according to Franklin's family. The song request was also specifically made by the late great Queen of Soul.
