Gayle King shares picture with grown-up son and daughter from vacation together

Gayle King shares a photo of her and her grown children on vacation together, doing things that they usually wouldn't dare to do at home.

Hinting about the places they were about to go to, she posted an aerial view of the beautiful town, with pictures of her and her children.

"Thurs afternoon w/my two FAV people on the planet!!! Location ?? Last pic big clue(Hah)"

On her recent trip to Mexico, it wasn't all beaches for her Gayle, who was brought to a bat cave by her children. With them was "the bat girl", whom they called Kenya. According to Kenya, only one flash of light at the bats, and this would upset them and cause them to storm out and awaken.

Knowing this, King and the rest of her crew made sure to take just a quick peek before heading straight out.

"Vacation doing stuff you’d NEVER do at home-bat cave anyone? Only 1 flash allowed at the bats/lights Kenya “the bat girl” says upsets them ... very quick in & out .... thanx Kenya!"

That was definitely the only adventurous thing that Gayle did, however, who spent the rest of her time shopping and hitting the beach. She shared numerous photos of her Mexican getaway, saying that she was set to enjoy her time there with her two most favorite people on earth her children Kirby and William.

Although they did enjoy their vacation, their beach trip was cut short after they failed to check the weather forecast. When they were to hit the beach, it began raining, and so they ended up doing other things to make good use of their vacation time.

"Shopping & snorkeling was the game plan-shoulda checked forecast! When all else fails ride a horse swipe left ....captain Pedro & guide Lilly real pros !"

The lovely trio made sure to hit the lovely Tulum, where they hiked and took in the beautiful sights.

They also made sure to hit Tulum's ancient architecture, posing in what they call "corny tourist things".

"I say... A family that walks TOGETHER & does corny touristy things looks good together ..."

Gayle shares her two grown children with her ex-husband William Bumpus who she was together from 1982 to 1993.
