"Fixer Upper" star Joanna Gaines faced a barrage of criticisms after she shared a photo of her newborn baby at a doctor’s appointment.

In a photo the 40-year-old mother shared on her Instagram, baby Crew can be seen lying on a pediatrician’s examination table, with her husband smiling down at him.

“Weigh in at the doctor… [Chip Gaines] always seems to make things better,” she captioned the photo. Follow us on our Twitter account, @amomama_usa, to learn more.

It seems to be an innocent snap of the baby, but some fans quickly took issue with the photo, speculating that Joanna and Chip were getting their son vaccinated.

“Please don’t vaccinate!” one individual wrote, as quoted by Romper. “Vaccines contain glyphosate and many other toxic ingredients that cause cancer and other side effects like asthma, autoimmune disease, and SIDS!”

“Vaccines are dangerous, and if people love their kids, they won’t inject them with these poisons!” another fan chimed in.

POSITIVE COMMENTS

Not everyone was displeased by the photo, however.

“Chip is such a good daddy. Love this picture of daddy and the newest member of the Gaines family,” one Instagram user wrote.

“Thank you for sharing. My favorite part of your show was when your children would show up, they are such beautiful kids. I miss you guys and miss the kids seeing them growing up. You have done a wonderful job raising your little ones. Your next tv show should be about the Family,” added another fan.

Joanna has been documenting her journey with Crew on Instagram. She has shared a number of photos since her pregnancy of her fifth child with Chip.

GROWING FAMILY

The new baby has joined 13-year-old Drake, 11-year-old Ella, 9-year-old Duke and 8-year-old Emmie Kay.

Eight years have passed since Joanna had a baby, which made her very excited because it gives her an opportunity to find and try all the new baby products on the market that didn't exist back then.

The Gaines couple found a way to share the parenting duties. Chip was always responsible for rocking the babies to sleep.
