Cardi B reveals what will happen to her best friend who was facing up to 15 years behind bars

Cardi B hints at good news about her best friend Star Brim who's currently in prison serving 15 years.

Cardi B’s best friend Star Brim is getting out of prison soon if the singer’s latest Instagram post is an indication. The new mom shared a photo of her incarcerated pal and hinted at her coming home in her caption.

In June, Star, who’s also famous for leaking Blac Chynna’s sex tape, surrendered herself to authorities to own up to charges of wire fraud. She was sentenced to 15 years behind bars.

But now it seems her term has been cut short as Cardi reveals Brim “will be home soon” to caption a photo of her soon-to-be-released friend she posted on Instagram. Star was wearing prison sweats with a made-up face and her hair tied in a bun. She looked happy and relaxed despite her confinement. She previously posted that photo on her own social media account and wrote,

“IN THE FEDS AND BODY STILL SNATCHED.”

Cardi didn’t provide the date of Star’s release nor did Star but it looks like it’s happening soon.

Right before the time Star surrendered in June, Cardi hinted that something was up with her friend when she posted a photo of the two of them and captioned it,

“Miss her already.”

A few days later, the singer confirmed Star had turned herself in after having been out on bail for two and a half years. Cardi explained,

“Shorty been prepare for this and turn herself in early cause she just want to get sh*t over with and do her time. I mean why wouldn’t she? after she finish her bid no more probation, can travel everywhere and she can live a normal love life!”

It seems Star’s decision to turn herself in is paying off with the promise of her release soon. By then, she’d be free to move around and hang out with Cardi whose brand new daughter, Kulture, she has yet to meet. Kulture was born in July and was welcomed by Cardi and her husband, Offset. The couple secretly married in September 2017 and accidentally revealed it when Offset thanked Cardi as his wife during his acceptance speech at the BET Awards in June.
