Teacher who's been wearing the same clothes for a decade looks unrecognizable after makeover
A teacher named Laurie who's worn the same clothes for ten years received the modern makeover of a lifetime, and she looks unrecognizable after.
In a recent episode of Steve Harvey's hit television show, "Steve TV Show," Liz Kennedy, one of the crew members, went outside to pick a particular audience member who will get the show's makeover.
Kennedy landed on a sweatshirt-wearing teacher named Laurie after scanning the crowd. Follow us on our Twitter account, @amomama_usa, to learn more and take a peek at the teacher's impressive transformation in the video below.
Kennedy then asked the teacher why she deserves to get the makeover.
Laurie responded, “I have three little boys at home, and I spend all my time running after them… All of my clothes are 10-ish years old. I just need some ideas and tips on how to be modern and hip. [How to be] a sexy mom!”
Laurie has struggled for "me time" among commitments of children, family, and work. She just wanted to feel as beaming as her winning personality.
After the makeover, everyone gasped when she walked out onto the set. The makeover surely boosted her confidence, and she looked striking.
Laurie can now feel like a beautiful woman without having to wear the same clothes every single day in the class.
Just like Laurie, a 62-year-old woman named Mary Jackson also received a makeover that made her look stunning after.
Her granddaughter, 22-year-old Lonyea Maiden, who is known for her YouTube makeup tutorials, emphasized her facial features with transformational makeup on March 8, 2017.
Mary believed that Lonyea did an excellent job of transforming her using her makeup skills.
Lonyea has been wearing makeup since 5th grade and loved every aspect of beauty. She is a certified freelance makeup artist and currently works as a Beauty Consultant at Walgreens.
