Tami Roman recently came across a video of Tina Turner talking about her personal improvements, and it inspired the reality TV star to work on her own self as well. She shared the video of Tina talking about how she has been trying to make her life better, which turned out to be the key to her success.

Hoping to inspire all those who follow her, particularly her "Basketball Wives" co-stars, she captioned the video with:

“I saw this interview and it spoke to me! This is me right now. I looked at myself & knew I needed to make changes – spiritually, mentally, physically, in business affairs, in all my relationships and life in general – critics, trolls & fake folks will try to keep me in a box & continue to spew negativity. But God! I know the work I’ve done, the positive changes I’ve made and I’m going to uplift myself. Get Into the new new because I personally am enjoying her.”

The TV personality was dragged to the bad light for physically fighting with her co-stars on their hit reality TV show "Basketball Wives". After the constant arguments and feud she had with her co-stars, Tami decided to take a break and spend time with her children and boyfriend, Reggie, discontinuing her appearance on the show.

She wholeheartedly wanted to change and be a better person, which is why she asked help from Pastor John Gray to counsel her. She disclosed that she wanted to get away from the drama and the negative thoughts people have associated with her, not only for her but for her children as well.

“I’m unhappy because people just see me one way. And ‘that’s not who I am,’ but it’s not only me. I have been battling with what’s making my lifestyle comfortable, but that hasn’t actually been making me, as a person on the inside, comfortable.”

According to Roman, she is unhappy with the way people perceive her to be, as this is only one side of her, and that's not who she is. She has been labeled as a certain type of woman, and this has made it hard for her to venture out and explore new career opportunities.

“I don’t want to not be able to provide for my children, but now when I try to go out and have other opportunities and other revenue streams, people don’t want that girl associated with their projects. And it hurts my daughters that people think of me in a certain way.”

The decisions Tami Roman has been making have been selfless decisions for her children as she continues to put them first in her life. The thought of her kids guides her and motivates her to be the best version of herself, as all parents should.
