Tyler, the bandleader of Aerosmith, joined her a minute later, singing the song’s chorus and a few other verses. He later performed her band’s song, “Walk This Way.”
The crowd erupted in cheers as Tyler began singing. Some could not help but get to their feet to get a better view of the performance.
ENJOYING THEIR DUET
Both stars were visibly enjoying each others’ company on stage as they pulled off the almost six-minute song number.
Underwood ended their performance by singing the last verses of “Walk This Way” while Tyler hugged her on her side.
The talented pair were rightfully rewarded with a standing ovation.
It was not the first time Tyler and Underwood performed together. They took the stage for a duet at the CMT Crossroads in 2012.
They delivered an equally powerful rendition of “Just a Dream” and “Dream On”. Like their recent duet, they also earned the crowd’s standing ovation at that time.
DUET WITH ANOTHER SUPERSTAR
Another memorable duet Underwood has had was with fellow country star, Brad Paisley.
They performed their hit song, “Remind Me” at the Grand Ole Opry in 2012.
The song belonged to Paisley’s 2011 bit album “This Is Country Music,” which reached the number 1 on the US Billboard Top Country Albums.
A video of their performance has already racked up more than 1 million views on YouTube.
