Carrie Underwood shows off her baby bump at the AMA's red carpet
The country music star flaunted her baby bump and overall spectacular appearance for the first time in a red carpet event since breaking the news about expecting her second child.
On October 9, 2018, 35-year-old singer and songwriter Carrie Underwood delighted everyone at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles from the moment she arrived at the American Music Award’s ceremony, as People reported.
Wearing a floor-length figure-hugging black dress with touches of gold, the “American Idol” winner posed for the photographers on the red carpet while cradling her growing belly. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa
It was going to be a great night for the talented artist, who apart from performing her most recent hit “Spinning Bottles” during the ceremony won the Favorite Female Country Artist award.
Before talking about her new song, which she wrote inspired in substance abuse, she took a moment to answer a question from a reporter who complimented her for her looks and asked her how her first child felt about becoming a big brother.

[He is] very excited. I’m not sure if he quite realizes how his life is going to change, but right now he’s very sweet,” Underwood said in reference to her 3-year-old son with husband Mike Fisher, Isaiah Michael.

The “Inside Your Heaven” singer also shared her thoughts on touring with a newborn baby to promote her latest record Cry Pretty. She will hit the road in May and obviously, she is going to bring her second child along.
“I think its just gonna be the easiest, like, most organized tour we’ve ever had because I feel like everybody’s just gonna be there and be on time and be ready for it, and they all offered to babysit. I’m not gonna sleep, but I did it once with one — how much harder could it be?”

Underwood announced her second pregnancy via her Instagram account on August 8, and she did so in a very creative and funny way, while at the same time revealing some information about her latest tour and album.
“Mike, Isaiah, and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond. This has just been a dream come true,” the artist told her fans in a video message.
It is a relief to see that Underwood has totally regained her confidence after the issues she experienced with her own image following the facial injury she suffered on November when she had to be given more than 50 stitches after cutting her face open in an awful fall.
Following her accident, the star didn’t let her face be seen in social media and didn’t make any public appearances until she found the courage to show her scars for the first time in April 2018.
“I was at a point where I didn’t know how things were going to end up. I didn’t know what was going to go on. I didn’t know what it was going to heal like,’ Underwood admitted back then. Fortunately, she healed just fine and her scar is barely noticeable.
