Women sing beautiful veteran tribute, but the crowd gasps as other guests appear on stage
The D-Day Darlings is a female vocal group who participated in “Britain’s Got Talent” and made it to the finals. For their presentation, they invited some very special guests who stole the show.
As Happiest reported, the group was created in 2008 as a trio who wanted to pay tribute to their family members who fought in the World Wars. Later, their vintage style and objective attracted a lot of attention, so more and more people joined them.
Before participating in the show, the D-Day Darlings would perform in D-Day parades and sing in birthday parties for nonagenarian war veterans who wanted to recall their youth.

SINGING AT THE FINALS
It was time for them to give it all in the finals, and they certainly did it. They chose “White Cliffs of Dover” by Vera Lynn, and got onstage wearing a vintage World War 2 outfits that were the perfect touch for the surprise they had prepared.

GETTING SOME GUESTS ON STAGE
After reciting the lyrics in the most beautiful and angelical way, the song was about to end. From both sides of the stages, several war veterans joined the ladies on stage and stood in front of them until the music stopped.

BEING PRAISED
As soon as that happened, everybody, judges included, stood up and gave them a lengthy standing ovation. Unfortunately, they didn’t win the competition but ended up in the seventh place. Read more on our Twitter account, @amomama_usa.
ANOTHER MIND-BLOWING PRESENTATION
While the D-Day Darlings’ presentation was marvelous and they certainly have a bright future ahead, it is not the first time that the judges are left almost speechless and gladly surprised with a presentation. A then-nine-year-old girl got on the “Britain’s Got Talent” stage and earned the nickname “Golden Dragon” after that.
Her name is Jesse Jane McParland, and she showed an impeccable martial arts routine that included the handling of a sword, jumps, kicks, and somersaults. When her presentation ended, she got a well-deserved standing ovation.
All judges seemed very surprised as they never expected that such an adorable girl would do that. After getting praised and receiving a job offer to work as Simon’s bodyguard, she got four yeses and moved on to the next round.
