Will Smith 'broke down in tears' on realizing he wasn't with the woman he was meant to be with
Will Smith sat down with his wife, grandmother, and daughter for a candid talk about his previous marriage.
Will, 50, and Jada, 47, both agreed that the first time they met there was a "really unique, beautiful power."
However, he was married to actress Sheree Zampino at the time. The two had a son named Trey together.

In the family's Facebook Watch "Red Table" episode, Jada spoke about that night they talked at The Baked Potato.
According to Jada, "that was it. We did not have an affair while he was married, let's be clear about that."
The night after their outing, Will said he had an epiphany that unexpectedly brought him to tears.
"That next night, me and Sheree went to dinner, and I sat down with Sheree, and it was one of the most bizarre emotions I ever had. We were at The Palm and I remember I had to get up from dinner when I had a realization that I wasn’t with the person I was supposed to be with."
Jada remarked: "But you would have stayed with her forever," to which Will replied, "Forever, I would have never got a divorce."
He continued:
"I went into the bathroom in The Palm, and I broke down in tears. I was sitting in a stall in the restaurant and I was crying uncontrollably and then laughing like, 'what the heck is wrong with me?' And I knew, that was the woman I was supposed to be with."
Sheree divorced from the actor in 1995. Will revealed that not only did he call Jada the same day, but he created a relationship right off the bat.
"I said 'Hey Jada, what’s up? It’s Will.' She said 'Hey, how you doing?' I said, 'Good, are you seeing anybody?' She said, 'Uh, no,' and I said 'Cool, you’re seeing me now.' "
The couple got married in 1995 following Jada's pregnancy. Of course, there were challenges.
Will also let viewers in on a time when he felt he had failed as a husband:
"There was a period where mummy woke up and cried 45 days straight. I started keeping a diary." He continued: "It was every morning. I think that's the worst I've ever felt in our marriage. I was failing miserably.
The two now consider themselves as "life partners." They have both admitted that nothing the other does will stop the love between them. Except "if he did something bad to the kids," Jada said.
They have two kids together: Jaden, 20, and Willow, 17. The two's unbelievable strong bond is a breath of fresh air and a great learning lesson for viewers.
