Beyoncé transforms into the spitting image of Toni Braxton with short hairdo for Halloween
Beyoncé, one of the most talented and influential singers in the recent history of the US, took to Instagram to pay tribute to Toni Braxton by transforming into her for Halloween.
The mother-of-three took to Instagram to share photos mimicking the way Toni posed for the cover of her debut album. The first post portrayed Beyoncé rocking a short black hairdo, a sleeveless white shirt, and a black leather jacket.
Instead of “Toni Braxton,” which is the title of Toni’s album, Beyoncé’s cover had written “Phoni Braxton,” using the same type of letters and colors. In the caption, Beyoncé sent “love and adoration to one of our talented legends.”
“Thank you for the countless bops. Your tone, your beauty, your range, and your God-given talent is treasured. Loving you always. Have a Happy Halloween my Kings and Queens,” added Beyoncé.

That was not the only image she posted of her Halloween costume, though. The singer uploaded two more photos copying the poses that Toni chose for her album, released in July 1993.
I also love that Beyoncé, as big as she is, never feels too big to pay homage to legends on Halloween. She has shown love to Janet Jackson, Salt N Pepa, Lil Kim and now Toni Braxton.— she/her/yellowbone (@eleven8) October 30, 2018

REACTING TO IT
Soon after those photos became viral, several people took to social media to share their thoughts. Most of them praised Beyoncé for paying homage to legends on Halloween no matter how important she is.

Previously, she has dressed up like Janet Jackson, Salt N Pepa, Lil Kim, and now Toni Braxton, showing that she is not afraid of giving honor to whom it’s due.
Others took their time to joke about it, saying that Toni and her sisters would probably scream in excitement for Beyoncé’s post and that millennials were probably digging the Internet to learn more about Toni and the Braxtons.

Toni herself took to Twitter to address the situation, sharing all the photos that Beyoncé uploaded and putting together her cover with Beyoncé’s to show the impressive resemblance.
“Phoni Braxton!? NEVER!!! How do you look better than me on MY album cover? I LOVE IT, Such a superstar! Thanks for the love sis! Happy Halloween. Who run the world...GIRLS! GIRLS!” captioned Toni.
DIGGING INTO BEYONCÉ PREVIOUS COSTUMES
Beyoncé and her family know how to take their Halloween costumes to the next level. Back in 2012, Queen B dressed up like Spider-Man and the White Rabbit, reported E!
In 2013, she chose an Angel costume. For 2014’s Halloween, Beyoncé put on a Frida Kahlo costume while her husband, Jay-Z wore a Jean-Michel Basquiat one.

Later that year, Beyoncé posed as Janet Jackson while Blue Ivy, her daughter, was dressed as Michael Jackson.
It is important to mention that her Toni Braxton’s costume took place on October 30, one day before the actual Halloween date, so she is expected to dress up again. People cannot wait to see her next costume.
