Serena Williams' baby daughter 'looks like she's planning her get away' in morning photo with mom
Serena Williams, one of the most talented tennis players in history, took to Instagram to share a photo of her daughter, Olympia, with a mischievous look in her face.
In the image, both ladies were on a large couch in what seemed to be the living room of the family's home. Serena was laying on one side resting her head on the back of the sofa flashing a loving smile.
Olympia, on the other hand, was in the middle of the comfy couch surrounded by a couple of cushions. While her mother was resting, the toddler was looking away from the sofa as if she was planning her way out.
PEOPLE’S REACTION
For the caption, the tennis player wrote that it was “just one of those mornings with” her daughter. As soon as she uploaded that beautiful post, her followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.
One of them completed the phrase that Serena wrote by saying “those kind of mornings that the baby is awake very early and mom is like zzzzz [sic].” Others admitted that Olympia’s energy was evident as she looked like if she wanted to get off the couch and start playing as soon as possible.

REACHING AN IMPORTANT MILESTONE
In early-October, Serena took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and her daughter playing in a sandbox as a way to thank her followers for reaching 10 million followers on that platform.
Apart from the loving mother-and-daughter moment shown, Serena’s beautiful curly hair was on full display. Olympia attracted a lot of attention, too, with her onesie that read “more issues than Vogue.”
HER THOUGHTS AS A MOTHER
Ever since Serena gave birth, she has been talking about how difficult it has been for her to divide her time between her tennis career, being a mother, and the rest of the responsibilities she has – like her clothing line and the ads she has worked on.
“It’s been so hard balancing being a mom and starting my clothing line, as well as playing a professional sport! However, it is the challenge that makes it fun!” said the 37-year-old tennis player.
STEPPING OUT OF HER COMFORT ZONE
One of the most recent activities Serena did that was not related to tennis was stepping out of her comfort zone in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
She went topless while covering her breasts with both hands and performing a cover of Divinyls global hit “I Touch Myself.” The mother-of-one said she did it “to remind women to self-check regularly.”
“I wanted to do it because it’s an issue that affects all women of all colors, all around the world. Early detection is key - it saves so many lives. I just hope this helps to remind women of that,” wrote Serena in the caption.
