Bride’s nails weren’t done for her engagement photo, so a cousin comes up with a genius solution

Since it was a surprise proposal, the bride was not able to get her nails done. Luckily, her freshly-manicured cousin was there to save the day.

Jenna Nguyen was a literal lending hand during her cousin, Diana Le’s engagement party after she lent her hand to wear the ring for the Le and her new fiancé’s engagement photo.

When you first take a look at the picture, it seems normal with the couple kissing while the bride’s hand grabs the attention at the center showing off the ring.

But in reality, there was a lot more going on behind the scenes. Nguyen took the liberty of sharing a wider shot of the photo on her Twitter account, where she revealed that it was her hand that was actually modeling the ring.

Putting the photos back to back, the second one showed Nguyen crouching done and raising her freshly-manicured hand for the engagement picture.

On the caption, she wrote, “My cousin’s boyfriend proposed to her but she didn’t have her nails done.”

Of course, if Le only knew that her boyfriend José was going to propose to her, she would have prepared more and got her nails done. It was fortunate that her cousin was present and offered up her manicured hand so Le could have the perfect engagement photo.

Sure enough, the shot was convincing, and no one could even tell that it was actually Nguyen’s hand wearing the ring.

Later on, Nguyen wrote follow-up tweets to explain that Le is a nurse and never really has her nails done because it’s prohibited at work. Also, Le was the one who organized her own engagement party because her fiancé tricked her that it was for his parents’ anniversary party.

Imagine Le’s shock when José suddenly bent down on his knees and realizing that the party was really just for her.

Nguyen, who is from Melbourne, Australia, spoke with “Sunrise” and said that she doesn’t see herself pursuing a career in hand modeling.

She joked, “I’m more than just a pretty hand. I can do more than that.”
