A disgusted Matthew Meehan took to Facebook to express his rage over Delta Air for making him sit in feces during his two-hour flight from Atlanta to Miami.

Meehan claimed that his legs, pants, and shoes were all covered in excrement because he was forced to sit in his designated seat, which had dog’s waste, even after he complained to the staff about it.

The frequent flyer felt horrified and disgusted after the experience, as revealed in his Facebook post.

Supposedly, he was given a choice to either sit in the dirty seat or miss his flight. This happened after he complained to one of the crew members.

Meehan also took the time to share mortifying photos of what appeared to be animal waste smeared on his shoes. He took the snapshots inside the plane’s bathroom after he was only given two paper towels and a small bottle of Bombay Sapphire.

The Delta Air did not even give him a proper biohazard kit.

"Delta was made aware of the FECES from the prior flight before MY flight boarded and no one checked to see if it was clean, I was allowed to board unknowingly and SAT IN IT covering myself in sickness and disease,” wrote Meehan.

Following the incident, the airline apologized and admitted that they had not cleaned Meehan’s seat properly.

Speaking with Mirror Online, Delta’s spokesperson said, “Delta apologizes to a customer affected by an issue on board a recent flight after the area around his seat was not appropriately cleaned following an incident involving an ill emotional support animal.”

Delta issued a refund and even said they would pay for Meehan’s clothes, but for him, the damage had already been done. Meehan said that the company should wait to hear from his lawyer.

The spokesperson also claimed that Delta had been investigating the matter to avoid anything similar to happen again. Also, they said that the plane was “taken out of service” after landing in Miami to be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

This is not the first time for Delta Air to be involved in a big issue with their customers. In 2017, a black passenger was banned from his Delta flight after he used the bathroom.

After the incident, the man sued the airline and claimed that it was racial discrimination. He said he would never have gone through that embarrassing experience if he were white.
