In a video shared from the airport before boarding the ill-fated flight to London Gatwick Airport, the couple reflected on their wonderful experience in India and remarked on how calm they felt ahead of departure. The post was shared shortly before the tragedy occurred.

Roshni Songhare
Roshni Songhare, a flight crew member with Air India Express and travel influencer, was among those who died in the plane crash in Ahmedabad. She was from Dombivli, India, and was remembered in tributes as a dedicated professional.
Her passing was publicly acknowledged by Ravindra Chavan, a state political leader, who extended condolences to her family and called her loss a heart-wrenching tragedy.

Akeel Nanabawa, Hannaa Vorajee, and Their Daughter Sara
British nationals Akeel Nanabawa and Hannaa Vorajee also lost their lives in the crash alongside their four-year-old daughter, Sara.
According to reports, the family had been on a surprise trip to India and were returning to London Gatwick Airport when the tragedy occurred.

Those close to them said the husband and wife were widely known for their community service and charitable work, including fundraising for humanitarian aid in Gaza and medical support in India.

Sara's headteacher, Abdullah Samad, described her as a "ray of sunshine" who "lit up the classroom." He shared that the couple's generosity and commitment to helping others had left a lasting impact on those who knew them.

The Smiling Family
Dr. Komi Vyas and her husband, Prateek Joshi, died alongside their three children in the crash. According to reports, originally from Udaipur, Rajasthan, Komi had recently resigned from her medical job to relocate to London with their children and reunite with Prateek, who had moved there earlier.

Just before takeoff, the family shared a smiling selfie from inside the aircraft — a joyful moment that quickly turned tragic.

Javed Ali Syed
Javed Ali Syed was among the passengers who lost their lives in the crash as well. According to his Facebook page, he was based in London and appeared to be in a relationship, often sharing photos with his partner.

Vijay Rupani
Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was also among the victims of the crash. Vijay, 68, led the state from August 2016 to September 2021 and was recognized for his steady leadership, particularly during the post-COVID recovery period.
Known for his composed and decisive administrative approach, he was respected across the political spectrum.

Raxa Modha and Her Two-Year-Old Grandson Rudra
Raxa Modha, from Wellingborough, also died in the crash along with her two-year-old grandson, Rudra. They were reportedly returning to England to attend a memorial service for her late husband, Kishor Modha, who had passed away in April 2025 from cancer.
According to a friend, Raxa played a key role in helping her husband build a business and was known for being kind, generous, and community-oriented.

Lamnunthem Singson and Kongbrailatpam Nganthoi Sharma
Flight attendants Lamnunthem Singson and Kongbrailatpam Nganthoi Sharma, both from Manipur, also passed away in the Air India Express crash near Ahmedabad. They were working aboard the Tata-owned airline at the time of the incident.
Their deaths were acknowledged by Nemcha Kipgen, a legislator from Manipur, who described the loss as part of a tragedy that claimed many lives. She extended condolences to their families and praised their service.

Landon and Torrie Baldwin
Landon and Torrie Baldwin were another couple who lost their lives in the tragic Air India crash. While limited information is publicly available, their respective Facebook profiles and Torrie's page revealed that they tied the knot and became parents over the years.
