T.I. brings daughter Heiress to his annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in Atlanta

T.I hosted his annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway on Wednesday, and the rapper had a cute sidekick for the day.

For years, T.I has been giving back to his community in many ways. The 13th anniversary of his annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway was even more prominent. Besides the turkeys, there were greens, sweet potatoes, soups, bread and more.

The focus this year was on grandparents raising their grandchildren and T.I successfully put smiles on the faces of the elderly.

"Thanksgiving is about giving thanks and showing appreciation to the people you consider a family," T.I. told WSBTV.

Held at the Adamsville Recreational Center in southwest Atlanta, the event was co-hosted by T.I’s non-profit, Harris Community Works, in partnership with the Mayor of Atlanta Keisha Lance Bottoms. Other top community leaders like Councilwoman Andrea Boone and Fire Chief Slaughter were also in attendance.

In an Instagram video, the organizers and several volunteers, including T.I’s sons, can be seen handing out food to smiling residents. The rapper also revealed his super-cute assistant, two-year-old Heiress Diana Harris.

T.I, 38, wrote:

HNHH recalls that this is not the first time T.I is going above and beyond to give back to his community around the holiday. Last year, he reportedly helped some single mothers do some last-minute Christmas shopping and paid for all their purchases. T.I paid a total of $20,000 within 30 minutes just so the mothers could get gifts for their kids.

The “Dime Trap” rapper also recently revealed that he has plans to buy as many buildings as possible in his old neighborhood, renovate them, and turn them into affordable housing units.

T.I. -- real name Clifford Harris -- is a doting dad to all his children and especially Heiress who is the baby of the house. The two share many daddy-daughter cuddles and observe spa days together, but it’s also clear that the rapper/actor is teaching her the value of giving back.
