Tamera Mowry pays touching tribute to deceased niece Alaina Housley on Thanksgiving
Tamera Mowry-Housley made sure to spend Thanksgiving weekend paying tribute to her deceased niece, Alaina Housley.
The 40-year-old “The Real” co-host shared a close relationship with her husband’s niece, Alaina Housley, who was killed in the mass shooting that happened in Thousand Oaks, California last November 7.
Fifteen days later, she made sure to share just how much they missed her, right in time for Thanksgiving.
“Never thought we’d be here. Never thought we’d be together in this way. The hurt has been eased a bit by the warmth. We stand with so many of you as #alainasvoice pushes us to make this world a better place.”
Housley shares that although their family has always been fighting to make the world a better place, they now have an angel protecting them and guiding them in their fight to stop violence of all types.
“We’ve always been that way, but now we have an angel…as do many of you…fighting against violence of all types….hurting people of all walks. May your #thanksgiving be filled with warmth. Swipe for more pics #thehousleys #enough.”
Aside from paying tribute to her niece, Tamera shared an appreciation post for her husband as well, letting everyone know that he is her rock.
“Thankful for you and our family. You have been my rock. Thankful for your faith in God that inspires me to keep my faith,” she wrote. “Thank you for calming my nerves in the middle of the night. Thank you for loving me through it all. I love you. #happythanksgiving.”
Although it has been a trying time for Tamera and the rest of her family this past month, it is their faith in God and their tight-knit family that has kept them together.
