Many actors and actresses end up in real life relationships due to the chemistry that they discover while working together. These two costars are proof of that.

Thad Luckinbill joined the cast of "The Young and The Restless" in 1999, portraying the role of J.T. Hellstrom, but Amelia Heinle only showed up in the popular series six years later in 2005.

Initially, the part of Victoria Newman was played by two different actresses consecutively over the years, and later written off the show when Heather Tom left, but it was brought back just for Heinle.

Heinle was already a veteran actress when it came to soap operas thanks to her roles in "Loving," "All My Children," and "The City," while Luckinbill had no experience in the genre before he was cast in "The Young And The Restless."

Their characters fell in love on screen and became romantically involved. After a while, Newman got pregnant and they ended up getting married, even though she didn’t know who the father of the baby was at the time.

A few episodes later, the divorce was inevitable, and Luckinbill’s character had to go. But after the actor left, photos of him and Heinle started appearing online and they later admitted that they were dating.

They married in 2007, during a period in which the actor was more interested in directing than acting. He founded Black Label Media with his twin brother, Trent Luckinbill, and Molly Smith, a producer.

The company enjoyed tremendous success, mostly because of films like "Sicario" and "La La Land," which featured Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.

But the acting bug inside Luckinbill reawakened in 2017, around the same time that he and Heinle announced they would be getting divorced.

The couple shares two children, 11-year-old Thaddeus and 9-year-old Georgia, who were caught in the middle of the divorce proceedings because their parents couldn’t come to an agreement in terms of their custody.

With that phase behind them, the two met again on the set of "The Young and The Restless" when the actor returned to his role in 2018. It is yet unknown how the two got along on set before he was killed off.
