Toddler fell out of his crib and security camera caught the the hero who saved him

A quick reaction of an unsuspecting savior prevented a 2-year-old child from falling off from his crib and falling headfirst into the ground.

Nicholas Lynch turned out to be the unlikely savior of his own baby, who fell off his crib with no one in the immediate vicinity to save him.

However, Lynch rushed in, as if out of nowhere, in just in time to catch his baby, when he was only inches away from hitting the floor.

The surprising, heroic catch Lynch made was caught by a CCTV camera that was installed inside the room to monitor the baby. Follow us on Twitter to learn more.

Lynch later told the source that it was the first time that he had made any such rescue and was definitely hoping that it would be his last one too. “I don’t know if I ever want to make another one like that."

He explained that the distance between the floor and where he caught his baby felt a lot closer to him than it actually was. While making the catch, he was almost certain that the baby’s head slammed against the floor.

“I felt like he was inches away from the floor. After reviewing the video, it was way closer than we thought,” Lynch further elaborated.

The chilling video begins with Lynch’s child standing up on his crib, trying to walk out of it. It is difficult for the child to get out from his crib, but he doesn’t give up.

Unfortunately, he decides to jump over and loses his footing. He then goes tumbling down the bed and falls off. Looking at the video, it is almost certain that the baby would slam against the floor.

When the baby was only inches away from hitting the floor, the father rushes in into the frame and catches the falling baby. His amazing speed, the presence of mind, and immediate reaction are on full display.

After the rescue, Lynch immediately held his son close to his heart in a warm embrace, proving yet again that he is a super dad.

The video went viral on the internet with more than 400,000 views and over 4,000 likes on YouTube so far.

There is no doubt that parents always have to stay extra-alert when they are caring for their baby because there’s simply no telling when they’ll indulge themselves in some harmful acts.
