'Christmas Chronicles' inspired A list pair Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell to be Santa this holiday
A newly released photo of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell showed them getting into the holiday spirit with their "The Christmas Chronicles" inspired Christmas card.
Kurt Russell plays a modern version of Santa in "The Christmas Chronicles" with Goldie making a surprise appearance.
Close to the end of the movie Goldie comes in to tease Santa Kurt for all the antics he pulled during the film before she suggests the couple catch a Christmas classic.

Various members of the family were involved in the movie, as Kurt and Goldie’s son, Oliver Hudson portrays the lead characters’, Teddy (Judah Lewis) and Kate (Big Little Lies‘ Darby Camp), late father.
Seven-year-old Bing Bellamy, Goldie’s grandson, appears briefly while 14-year-old big brother Ryder Robinson also makes an appearance.
At the premiere of "The Christmas Chronicles," the entire family showed up in Los Angeles the day before Thanksgiving where it got held.
Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn, Oliver Hudson and his wife with their three children, Wilder Brooks, 11, Bodhi Hawn, 8, and daughter Rio, 5, all enjoyed the evening at the movie premiere.
"The Christmas Chronicles" started streaming on Netflix on Thanksgiving day, while CCO of Netflix, Ted Sarantos announced that in the first week it had been streamed over 20 million times.
With the exceptional amount of views the movie had in its first week, Ted Sarantos said during the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference on December 3:
"Even in his successful career, [Kurt Russell] has never had that many people see one of his movies in the first week ever. That’s a testimony to what we can bring to the market for storytellers today that we couldn’t have ten years ago.”
According to reports from The Independent, "The Christmas Chronicles" have done so well that it is now recognized alongside other hits such as, "Green Book," "A Star is Born," and "If Beal Street Could Talk."
Christmas is a special time for them as a family as Kurt had previously said:
“Christmas is huge in our family; it’s just something that is really a big deal to us. Santa is the centerpiece of Christmas; it is the one time of the year that we are all able to get together for a good, long period of time, and have all of the things that all families have.”
The entire family generally spend Christmas together in Aspen Colorado where they can enjoy a picturesque white snowy Christmas.
