Jennifer Lopez’s mom gets an elbow in the face from autograph seeker while greeting fans
Jennifer Lopez's mom might be fit, but this doesn't mean she's immune from getting physically hurt. When supporting her daughter in one of her interviews, she got elbowed in the face when her daughters' fans started to get unruly.
Outside Sirius Radio in New York, fans of JLo swarmed the street. In numerous videos, JLo and her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, tried to make their way through the crowd, hoping to get away unscathed. Rodriguez ended up getting elbowed by one of the fans hoping to get Jennifer's signature, however, much to the disappointment of the singer.
In the video, Lopez could be seen looking irritated and concerned, as her mom tried to shake off the pain she felt by holding her right hand up to her head while they tried to make their way through the crowd. After what happened, the singer's group decided not to leave the building through the street once again, and instead found a secret exit that would allow them to escape the fans.
While A-list celebrities like JLo adore their fans and even take time to spend with them despite their busy schedules, it's a whole different story when their loved ones are getting hurt because of this. Of course, Lopez's number one priority will always be to keep her family safe. And so when something like this happens, it is clear that they need to show a bit of emotion to express themselves and how they feel about what happened.
Guadalupe Rodriguez is almost always present when JLo hits different interviews, and it comes with no surprise that she went along in this particular incident. However, this is the first time that she had to physically get hurt after trying to make her way through a crowd, much to the disappointment of her daughter.
