Kelly Ripa replaces her family with husband’s TV wife and daughter on her ‘best’ Christmas card
The famed talk show host shared her family holiday greeting card on social media revealing the humorous side to her personality.
48-year-old Kelly Ripa, the co-host of “Live with Kelly & Ryan” took to Instagram to post her family greeting card with a slight twist. It featured her husband, Mark Consuelos, with his on-screen family from the show, “Riverdale.”
In the snapshot, Consuelos posed alongside actress Marisol Nichols, who plays his wife on the show, and Camila Mendes, who plays his daughter.
She further included a funny message written over the photograph. Ripa wrote, “Happy Holidays. From our family to yours (No actual wives or children were used in this photo).”

Ripa included the actual photograph of the family on the back of the card. It featured a smiling family photograph of Ripa and Consuelos accompanied by their three children – 21-year-old Michael, 15-year-old Joaquin, and 17-year-old Lola.
The description underneath the real family photograph read, “Love, The Consuelos’ (ACTUAL FAMILY).”
Later, Consuelos also took to Instagram to share the same holiday card, reacting positively to his wife’s sense of humor.
“My poor wife has resorted to using my TV family as our holiday card. Personally… I think it’s her best work,” he wrote in the caption.
One of the people who commented on the post was Consuelos’s costar, Mendes, who wrote, “As your newly adopted daughter, I’m a little hurt that I wasn’t included in the ‘actually family’ photo.”
Back in November, Ripa also took to Instagram to share a snapshot of her new role in the “Riverdale” universe, where she made a cameo as Hiram Lodge’s alleged mistress, Mrs. Mulwray.
Explaining about her role in the show, Ripa hilariously captioned the photo, “It’s a family affair……..Hiram’s mistress. 23 years of auditioning for a role I was born to play.”
Recently, Ripa also showed her funny side when she took the time to comment on one of the Instagram photos of her husband, which sees him flaunting his oiled up, chiseled biceps.
Almost flipping out at the snapshot, Ripa commented, “Are you kidding me right now? I turn my phone off for two hours and you break that out?”
Back in August, Ripa and Consuelos's eldest son, Michael, also made a debut in the entertainment industry with a role on the same show.
