It would be six years later that Sosie established herself as an actress. However, in 2014 she captured the title "Miss Golden Globe" as a promising young talent.
It may simply be that the 26-year-old has it in her blood. Both her parents were actors. Sosie featured in series including "13 Reasons Why" and "Here, Now" from 2016 and into 2017.
The career calling comes as a surprise after neither Sosie nor her parents wanted her to get into acting. Sosie's attitude changed after her debut in Loverboy."
But her parents remained hesitant. They had experienced the downsides of the industry firsthand, with Kevin once breaking down amid his role in "Tremors."
Needless to say, the couple didn't stop Sosie from pursuing her acting goals. Additionally, the three sometimes bond together through Kevin's band. Among her other talents, Sosie can also sing very well.
Sosie might see her dad as a guide as he's directed two of her movies so far. But she looks to her mother to teach her about acting. As for her brother, the two are both working as actors and can certainly exchange what they learn.
They are expected to be successful not only due to the path paved by the parents in the industry, but also the love and support they receive.
The world got a glimpse of that undying love between Kevin and Sedgwick on their anniversary. September 4, 2018, marked 30 years that the 60-year-old and the 53-year-old have been together.
That day, Kevin shared a video of him and his wife covering the BeeGees' 1967 song "To Love Somebody." Sedgwick played the ukelele as the two harmonized together.
