Kenya Moore shows off her long natural hair, reveals challenges of new motherhood in recent post
Kenya Moore recently took to social media to share some of the motherhood challenges she’s been facing, and a lot of her fans can relate.
It’s been two months since the birth of her daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly, and even though Moore probably loves nothing more than being a mother, she’s opening up on the not-so-pleasant part.
The 47-year-old shared an Instagram photo of her voluminous and unruly curls, explaining in the caption:
“When you’re a new mom and don’t have time to do your hair! I need some @kenyamoorehaircare ASAP!”
Social media users who could relate to the situation turned up in the comments to share their thoughts with Moore.
“Know this feeling ALL too well!” ~ @taylorcliddell
“Same..like right now scrolling on insta, this populated!! I just blew out my curly hair to hot curl it and get my Goddess hair going #realhair #curlygirlproblems” ~ @terri_easter
“All mothers completely understand. However, it does get better. Just hang on in there.” ~ @bjerlut
Despite Moore’s hair dilemma, the first-time mom is still head over heels with baby Brooklyn and does not miss any opportunity to flaunt it.
On Sunday, she shared yet another snapshot of the wide-eyed infant and penned a sweet “Thank You” message to fans and well-wishers.
“Thank you for all the outpouring of love for this little Angel @thebrooklyndaly,” Moore wrote. “We have received hundreds of gifts and emails and well wishes from people we know and some we have never met.”
It was a long road to welcoming baby Brooklyn to the world. Moore and her husband, restaurant owner Marc Daly, had to resort to IVF to conceive and the former beauty queen eventually delivered their daughter via emergency C-section.
Since Brooklyn’s November 4 grand entrance, Moore has been updating fans on her progress and sharing her cuteness with the world. Some days ago, the former “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” star shared a video of Brooklyn “exercising” and trying to turn on the bed.
At least, Kenya can take solace in the fact that her baby girl appears to share her love for working out.
