Caitlyn Jenner shares her transformation by posting a 10-year-old photo in inspiring viral post

The “10-Year Challenge” is a social media fad where people post side-by-side transformation pictures of themselves from 2009 and 2019. Caitlyn Jenner took part in the challenge this week.

On Tuesday, she took to Instagram to share her transformation and it has gone viral.

For her “10-Year Challenge” Caitlyn Jenner, 69, posted before-and-after photos that showed her before she transitioned and now. She simply captioned the post, “THAT is a #10YearChallenge Be authentic to yourself.”

For more on this story go to our Twitter account @amomama_usa. Ten years ago, Jenner was identifiable as a man named Bruce Jenner but she’s since transitioned into a woman.

In April 2015, Jenner came out as transgender and she underwent gender confirmation surgery in January 2017. During a 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer in April 2017, she opened up about her journey.

She told Sawyer:

“I wasn’t less a woman the day before I had the surgery than the day after the surgery, because that did not define who I am as a human being.”

Before transitioning, Jenner was married to Kris Jenner, 63, for 22 years. The couple announced their separation in October 2013.

As Bruce, the television star and former triathlete had also starred on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” After their separation, Kris revealed that there was “no animosity” between them.

However, their relationship took a turn for the worse after Jenner released a memoir called “The Secrets of My Life.” The book which was said to be filled with lies also caused a rift between Jenner and his former stepdaughters, Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian.

Jenner wasn’t the only celebrity who took part in the “10-Year Challenge.” Miley Cyrus joined in the challenge by posting a 2009 picture of herself with new husband Chris Hemsworth.

Coincidentally, that year was also the one when they met.
