Tina Lawson celebrates b-day for the 2nd week after getting slammed over Beyoncé & Jay-Z's age gap

Tina Lawson just turned 65, and for a woman who is well-loved by everyone around her, one celebration is not enough. While she had a big birthday bash with all her family and friends, she also had a more intimate gathering with a select few people.

Tina claims that she has been celebrating her birthday for two weeks, and after all the good food and desserts she's been eating, she "can't fit into her jeans". However, that doesn't mean she hasn't been enjoying her time and has been happily celebrating with her friends.

Her birthday celebration posts come after she was slammed for Beyonce and Jay-Z's wide age gap after she said something about the R. Kelly scandal. Posting on one of Jada Pinkett-Smith's Facebook Red Table Talk episodes, she stressed the importance of the topic on sexual exploitation and child molestation, especially since young girls are very vulnerable to predators at their young age.

"I think a high percentage of women have been through some physical, sexual, or mental abuse. We need to stop condemning these young women. I applaud you for being brave enough to give them a platform."

In the comment section of the post, people were quick to remind Tina of the huge age gap between Beyonce and Jay-Z, even adding that her own son-in-law has abused women in the past.

Likewise, Mathew Knowles has also spoken out about keeping Beyonce and the rest of Destiny's Child away from R. Kelly. At the time the Destiny's Child girls were about 16 to 17 years old, R. Kelly wanted to collaborate with them. However, knowing his tendencies, Tina and Mathew Knowles always rejected his proposals.

Now that all his scandals have come to light, they claim that they did the right thing all these years, and that they saved their children from a predator that early on.
