'Alaskan Bush People' Rainy Brown has changed drastically in this rarely shared childhood photo
The teenage reality TV star joined the Internet’s 10 Year Challenge and posted a throwback photo of herself next to one taken nowadays, and it is hard to believe how much she has changed.
On January 17, 2019, 16-year-old Rainy Brown, known for her appearance in the Discovery Channel reality TV series “Alaskan Bush People” since 2014, took to her Instagram account to share the split image.
More than 8.000 users liked Brown’s post, but there are no comments to quote about what did they think about the image since the comments have been deactivated. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa
Brown didn’t write much in the caption, apart from adding hashtags related to the challenge and reassuring phrases like #staystrong and #stayhappy.
On the left half of the image, a six-year-old Brown is seen turning her head to face the camera and smiling. She had long locks and was wearing a pink winter coat.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend the past eight years of my life, and hopefully the rest of it. Big thank you to everyone for all of the love, stay tuned.”
On the right half, present-day Brown appears with short hair and wearing a black sweater.
Brown’s positive and reassuring caption comes not long after she opened up about her struggles with mental health and the need to focus on her values, who she is and who she wants to be in an Instagram post that has since been deleted.
“Even though I was proud of how hard I was working I was also not taking a lot of time for my mental health, I got very caught up in the daily stresses and struggles of life and had no time to just be me,” she wrote.
“Standing here at the end of my week with a clear mind and a very full heart, I say. If you find yourself overthinking, overwhelmed, and just plain stressed? Take a break. Rebuild yourself, find yourself again and I promise you, you will come out better in the end. I love you all and God bless my lovely’s.”

There is no doubt that having to go through puberty in front of a camera has been difficult for Brown, but as hard as it might have been, she has expressed that she is grateful for having done the show for all these years.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend the past eight years of my life, and hopefully the rest of it. Big thank you to everyone for all of the love, stay tuned,” she wrote back on November 11.
In May 2018 Brown raised curiosity among the fans of the reality TV series after one of her Instagram posts suggested that she had found a new love interest.
“Sometimes all it takes is one special person, and suddenly, the world doesn’t seem so bad anymore,” she captioned one of her self-portraits.
