Traveling can be stressful from time to time, and traveling with a baby can double the complications. However, Kenya decided to take baby Brooklyn on her first adventure out of the city, and it seems like the well-behaved girl is enjoying herself.

BEACH BABIES

In a pic shared to Instagram, Kenya cuddles to Brooklyn as they lay down on a sofa with pink cushions on the beach. The mother-daughter duo were quite the fashionistas, with Kenya rocking a colorful short dress and sunglasses, and Brooklyn looking cute in a blue onesie with printed pineapples.

A BUMPY RIDE

Moore has been enjoying motherhood since November 18, when Brooklyn Doris made her grand entrance into the world six weeks ahead of her scheduled date.

Moore has been open about the pregnancy and birth complications she faced, revealing that she was diagnosed with preeclampsia — a condition marked by extreme fluid retention and high blood pressure that can lead to severe complications- and that prompted her doctors to perform an emergency C-section ahead of time.

She spent three hours in the operating room and ended up being cut twice, horizontally and vertically, due to fibroids on the way.

“They couldn’t get the baby out,” she told People. And continued:

“There were all these complications, and they knew if they cut into a fibroid, I could potentially bleed out and die. So they ended up cutting me vertically too, to just get the baby out and make sure I survived the surgery. They were so scared they were going to lose me.”

ALL WORTH IT

Despite all of the complications and struggles, Kenya says all the hassle was worth it once she had her baby in her arms. “She was just so perfect, so tiny. And just like that, all my dreams had come true,” the happy mom stated.

The reality star and her husband, restaurant owner Marc Daly, couldn’t be happier of being the parents to such a beautiful girl.

“We’re so in love,” said Moore. “Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. But she’s such a tough baby; so determined. And every step of the way, she kept surviving and getting stronger. She’s my miracle baby. There’s no other way to describe it; she’s my miracle baby.”
