With the help and guidance of their mom, it's clear the young ladies have had a promising career.

In an interview with People in 1988, Loretta made it known that she always wanted the girls to work together. She said:

“I thought they should work together. But I had to wait till they took a notion to do it themselves.”

And true to their mother's wish, they did go into music. Their "self-titled" first album featured the fiery song “Woman To Woman.” The music was a huge hit and a significant highlight for the sisters in their career. Woman to Woman also got them a CMA nomination for Vocal Duo of the year in the years 1998 and 1999.

In the Youtube clip, Peggy and her sister Patsy performed on the television show "Girls’ Night Out." The concert was hosted by some of country music’s leading ladies, Jo Dee Messina, Terri Clark, and Tanya Tucker. The Lynns commented about how heartwarming music has been for them mainly because it was a natural experience.

“Songs that are written by the artist that sing them, I think that’s really important, especially because, for this song, in particular, you had to be there and really experience that to write it.” - Peggy and Patsy

The sisters then jumped on the stage and dedicated their song to the audience, saying;

“This is for all you ladies here tonight.”

The Lynns gave the crowd a beautiful performance.
