Mariah Carey’s Former Assistant Claims She Was ‘Urinated’ on and Physically Abused
The singer’s former employee Lianna Shakhnazaryan responded to Carey’s suit against her with another suit for alleged verbal, physical and sexual abuse committed against her by Carey’s former manager Stella Bulochnikov.
Just weeks after the legal feud between Carey and Bulochnikov ended up in an agreement, the two are once again subject of a lawsuit, and this time they are both the defendants after Shakhnazaryan claims to be their victim.
This new conflict involving Shakhnazaryan, who worked for Carey from 2015 to 2017, when she was fired from her job over unfortunate circumstances that are now coming to light.
First, the “Hero” singer sued Shakhnazaryan for breach of contract and invasion of privacy, among other accusations, for which she is asking for over $3 million. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa

But following Carey’s claims that Shakhnazaryan secretly filmed personal videos that could ruin the artist’s reputation, the former assistant has filed her own lawsuit in accordance to her version of what happened in the time she worked for Carey.
On Wednesday, January 16, Shakhnazaryan filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court, listing a series of abusive and humiliating behaviors shown by Bulochnikov in the presence of Carey during the time she worked for the two women.

Shakhnazaryan denounced that she was “subjected to severe, pervasive, sexual, derogatory, offensive, physically abusive and outrageous conduct by defendant Bulochnikov.”
According to the documents, the former manager continually used derogatory comments about Shakhnazaryan’s Armenian origins, apart from committing several acts of abuse and battery.

While Shakhnazaryan’s complaints are mainly against Bulochnikov, who allegedly slapped her buttocks and breasts and urinated on her, the former assistance accuses Carey’s of allowing this behavior and acting similarly.
As reads in the document, Carey was also responsible for creating “a hostile work environment” for Shakhnazaryan.

Although, in theory, Shakhnazaryan was “encouraged to approach any employer, supervisor and/or administration with any kind of work-related problems without fear of retaliation of any kind,” she faced backlash when she tried to speak out.
Soon as she reported Bulobchnikov’s harassing and discriminatory conduct to Carey around October 14, 2017, Shakhnazaryan was fired from her job.
IN TOUCH WITH HER FANS
Aside from being busy in legal battles with former work companions, Carey has been in contact with a family whose impressive Christmas display featuring the singer’s Christmas videos went viral in December.

After Jason Evart caught the attention of Twitter users by installing a projection screen outside his family home, the news reached Carey, who was so pleased with the entire thing that decided to FaceTime with her California fan.
"You guys are so festive, and I don't believe it, so I had to call and tell you Merry Christmas. Thank you for making me a part of your Christmas and you being a part of mine," Carey told Evart.
