In 2019, a 2-year-old schoolboy named Cheikh Faizal from Malaysia contributed his token to the world through a genuine act of kindness.

While grown-ups try to help the homeless by financing housing projects, the young child displayed his thoughtfulness by sharing his belongings with the less privileged.

Cheikh, who not only has a home, but a dad and the privilege of looking good, took off his shoes for a homeless child and shared playtime with the children before he returned home.

CHEIKH'S HEARTWARMING DISPLAY OF COMPASSION

Cheikh and his dad, Sofian, were enjoying their stroll past the Bukit Bintang station in Kuala Lumpur, a place famous for homeless people, when the young lad noticed a boy who appeared to be his age.

The toddler was moved and wanted to do something sweet for the less privileged child, so he took off his shoes and socks.

He held the other boy's foot as he attempted to wear his socks and shoes. Sofian helped his son by removing an umbrella used by the homeless folks, which brought a smile to the face of the boy's mom.

Cheikh was left barefooted, but he did not mind. Instead, he planted several gentle kisses on the face of the homeless boy and later moved around, playing and touching the other needy kids.

The 2-year-old was content without his shoes and enjoyed more time running around with the kids, who seemed happy with their visitors.

SOFIAN'S THOUGHTS ON HIS SON'S KINDNESS

Sofian, a travel agent, was proud of his child, and he recorded the entire special moment. Via the YouTube clip, he explained that his son showed love to everyone in the area without being forced. According to Sofian:

"My son saw the young boy without shoes and made the decision himself that he wanted to help him. He showed his love for everyone there even though they are homeless. He then went home without his shoes."

Cheikh's dad added that he intended for the world to see the post and tap into the positive message of being human and sharing love, making life better for everyone.

He stated that the world was full of homeless people but that if every individual practiced the most minute gesture of kindness like his boy, it would touch lives. In his words:

"Hopefully, everybody in the world will see this positive message, and we can make life better for every human being. There are many homeless people, but if everybody makes a small gesture of kindness, we can improve their lives."

After a fun-filled day for both father and son, Sofian showcased his confidence in his son by kissing the toddler heartily. The 2-year-old also returned the gesture as he walked home barefoot with his dad.
