Jason Momoa proudly shares photos of his look-alike father candidly signed 'My pops'
"Aquaman" star Jason Momoa looked exactly like his father, Joseph, in the recent photo he posted on social media.
In December 2018, Jason, 39, took to Instagram to share a photograph of his dad, who has a Hawaiian descent.
In spite of the disheartening moments, Jason cherishes all his family. He has a special place in his heart for every one of them.
"My pops. Joe “da fish” Momoa. And my unko Gigi. Super proud to represent MOMOA. Kaeo Keaulana there so many more but these moments are very dear to me. Mahalo Hawaii nei for welcoming me home Aloha j," the actor captioned the snap.
Joseph is a painter just like his son and ex-wife Coni. When the former couple separated, Joseph nearly lost touch with Jason.
'A PERFECT SON'
Since the photo was uploaded, it has amassed over 294,000 likes. A lot of fans also added their thoughts via comments.
One user wrote: "He’s a beautiful mixture of both parents… I see both of his parents in him and without his father he wouldn’t have that unique look he resemble his beautiful mom in the eyes yes definitely but he also looks like his handsome father! God bless his parents for making a perfect son. Love that man."
"Your father looks like yours in the movie," added another.
"Just realizing how much your father in the movie resembles your real pops," another user commented.
In spite of the disheartening moments, Jason cherishes all his family. He has a special place in his heart for every one of them.
Though Jason, who won Hawaii's Model of the Year 1999, may be a brood on TV, he is a faithful husband, doting father, and loving son.
HIS APPEARANCE ON 'THE TONIGHT SHOW'
In January 2018, the actor delighted fans as he played “Water Wars” with "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon.
In a video shared on YouTube earlier this year, Jason and Jimmy can be seen getting wet as they splash water against each other’s faces.
They faced off in a twist on the card game War, where the loser of each hand faces wet consequences – getting splashed with a glass of water.
During the more serious part of Jason’s appearance on "The Tonight Show," the actor revealed how he earned the role of Aquaman. According to him, the whole process was "pretty crazy."
