78-year-old lady revealed her daily makeup routine and the result is stunning

Joann Hopkins, the 78-year-old mother of Christopher Hopkins, is still performing her own makeup routine every day, and it's downright staggering.

In the YouTube video shared by Christopher recently, his mother can be seen showing her daily makeup routine.

Christopher spends much of his time in Minneapolis, where he would find someone to do a makeover once in a while. He has a team of stylists that help him with that.

"At 78 my mother still puts her full face on every day. This is what I watched every day growing up and it still fascinates me," wrote the famous makeup artist, who is better known as The Makeover Guy. He added:

"You can tell where I get my inspiration. I will always see her as she appears after. This is probably one of the more difficult things she has done and no one who has known her would believe she actually did it."

HAD NO CHOICE

Growing up with a mother like Joann, Christopher, the owner of Christopher Hopkins Image Center in Minneapolis, basically had no real option except to get familiar with some things about it too.

He refers to his mom as the “matriarch and inspiration” to his salon. However, despite the fact that she knows how to apply makeup perfectly, she never turned into a professional makeup artist.

Christopher spends much of his time in Minneapolis, where he would find someone to do a makeover once in a while. He has a team of stylists that help him with that.

He features them in before and after videos on his YouTube channel, and they are always stunning.

BARELY RECOGNIZABLE

One of the lucky individuals who received a makeover from him was Debbie, 60.

“Debbie came in with white regrowth and brown ends on very curly hair. She said the magic words, ‘Do whatever you want,’ and so I did,” Christopher said.

Debbie had always hesitated to get a makeover. But when an opportunity came to get one from Christopher, she immediately seized it.

Christopher worked wonders on Debbie, who could hardly recognize herself after the makeover. She was thrilled to see her new look in the mirror. She had no regrets giving in to her desire for a makeover from the famous stylist.
