Teen's hilarious reaction at mistaking girlfriend's thermometer for a positive pregnancy test
Izaak Torres, of California, mistook his girlfriend's thermometer reading for a pregnancy test, and their text exchange quickly went viral.
Torres, 18, received a photograph in the early hours of the morning from his sweetheart Vanessa Marie recently.
"I honestly don’t care what anyone says. Me and my girl have a great relationship..."
The snap was a digital thermometer demonstrating a reading of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Following Marie's photo were the words "holy f***".
Torres instantly fired off a series of panicked texts: "How" and "Wtf."
"You're on birth control," he added. "Baby."
In the long run, the teen ended up alert enough to take in his girlfriend's photo unmistakably and realized what the image was really of.
In an interview with BuzzFeed News, he said that he "felt like a dumb ass."

Meanwhile, Marie also disclosed to the news outlet why she accompanied the picture with the words "holy f***".
"I said 'holy f***' because I was so frustrated that it was 4 a.m. and I was dead tired but I didn’t want to go back to sleep until my fever went down some more," she explained.
Fortunately, she saw the entertaining side of the circumstance and chose to share their conversation online.
"I had a fever last night and my boyfriend thought the thermometer was a pregnancy test," she captioned the post.
Since Marie posted the snap on Twitter, it has been retweeted more than 31,000 times. It also amassed more than 175,000 likes.
Many people couldn't get over the fact that her beau indeed read a 100-degree thermometer as a positive pregnancy test.
One user wrote: "You're pregnant and all 100 of them are his."
"He saw it as you're 100% pregnant and lmao I'm dead," another said.
"You is 100% having a baby," commented a third user.
While some thought that it was likable, others are boldly calling Torres a fool. But according to him, he doesn't mind everybody making jokes at his expense.
He told BuzzFeed News: "I honestly don’t care what anyone says. Me and my girl have a great relationship and we are strong and we posted this for people to find it funny but not blow it out of proportion."
