Donald Jr shares throwback pic of POTUS with grandchildren as he greets dad on President's Day
Donald Trump Jr celebrated President's Day on February 18 by sharing a throwback picture of his father hugging the grandkids.
In the photo Trump Jr shared on Instagram, the president is wearing his red "Make American Great Again" cap and kneeling down. Three of President Donald Trump's grandkids surround him.
All were smiling at the camera. In the comment section, fans praised the president and thanked him for his work so far. They also showed adoration for the sweet picture.
Trump Jr wrote in the caption:
"Happy President’s Day grandpa we love you. #president #presidentsday #grandpa"
President's Day began when the first President George Washington's Birthday was made into a Federal Holiday. It is now done on the third Monday of every February.
Although it is a holiday, several businesses and even some schools remain open. Many businesses offer sales prices to the public while public transit systems operate normally.
Trump Jr is very supportive of his father now despite their rocky history. The president's eldest son once stopped talking to his father during the separation from Trump's first wife Ivana.
Earlier this month, Trump Jr posted a photo showing that he is totally in agreement with the direction his father wants the country to go. In front of a picture of Trump, some text read:
"We are born free and we will stay free. American will never be a socialist country. President Donald J. Trump."
Just a week prior, he also reposted a picture of his father with an explanation of the way he goes about things.
The text read:
"Maybe the reason grown adults are acting like children about President Trump is because he's stepped up and has acted like the "strict parents" to a group of spoiled, ignorant, and entitled "teenagers" in a Government that has been in need of a true Father figure for a long time!!!!!"
Trump Jr wrote in the caption:
"This!!! We all need a disciplinarian parent once in a while... some more than others."
Back in January, the president's 41-year-old son shared two throwback photos to honor the two-year anniversary of Trump's inauguration. One was of Trump signing a document to officialize his new position.
Other photos showed Trump as he raised his right hand to be sworn in. Another picture showed the family embracing each other.
Trump Jr. wrote in the caption:
"2 years ago today. A great time for America. ususus #inauguration #anniversary #throwback #sunday.
Last year, Trump Jr dug up a really old clip of his father on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," where he spoke about changing foreign policies with an American ally. Even back then, there was the talk of a presidential run.
At the time, when host Winfrey asked Trump whether he think he would ever run for president, he responded that he "probably wouldn't" but "would never wanna rule it out totally."
