Olympia Ohanian had the time of her life the past weekend as her tennis superstar mom, Serena Williams, and her businessman father, Alexis Ohanian, decided to throw a fun party for the toddler on their backyard.

Even though Olympia celebrated her 1st birthday last September, Williams revealed back then that because of her religion, she doesn’t really celebrate birthdays. “We’re Jehovah’s Witnesses, so we don’t do that,” she explained.

So, wanting her daughter to have some fun, Williams turned her backyard into a full-on carnival, including a station dubbed “Olympia’s Candy Shop,” a carousel, farm animals, several booths where guest got to enjoy sweet treats and other snacks, and even a train ride that Olympia enjoyed in a pic shared later to Instagram.

The adorable toddler sat comfortably on the purple train, donning a checkered white and red top, red pants, white sneakers, and some butterflies painted on her face. Olympia’s curly hair was tied in two buns, and she also rocked her amber necklace.

“I wanted to just do something fun because we don’t do birthdays,” Serena explained to her followers on a series of Instagram stories, as she panned over a playground set that her husband tried to put together, but that he didn’t finish, as the slide was still lying on the floor.

Ohanian also took to his account to post a black and white pic of his daughter pointing to some animal farms in the background. For the pic, Olympia was wearing a different outfit, rocking a polka-dotted dress with lace details.

“Ok, we'll get some chickens & ducks,” he captioned the pic.

Fans couldn’t help but gush about Olympia’s cuteness and innocent expression on the comment section.

“I’ll never get over this one! A really special photo and moment. Thanks for sharing her sweetness with us!” wrote one user.

Another added, “So precious! Get those ducks and now, Daddy!” and a third one chimed in to say,

“Who could say no to that face?”

Alexis, the Reddit co-founder, has been rallying about parental paid leave since Olympia’s birth. The businessman, who took 16 weeks off to bond with his newborn daughter, believes fathers should be able to make a paternity leave as much as moms do.

“My understanding of showing up and being present for my wife was taken to a whole new level when Olympia was born. I was able to take 16 weeks of paid leave from Reddit, and it was one of the most important decisions I’ve made,” he recently wrote on an essay for Glamour magazine.

And continued:

“It was incredible to be able to spend quality time with Olympia. And it was perhaps even more meaningful to be there for my wife and to adjust to this new life we created together—especially after all the complications she had during and after the birth.”

When the paid leave was over, Ohanian became a full-time business-dad, meaning, he was still a hands-on father to his baby girl, but Olympia had to go to the office with him, and his business partners had to get used to seeing the girl on phone calls, or important meetings.

“The more we normalize this, on social media and in real life, the better, because I know this kind of dynamic makes a lot of men uncomfortable,” he stated.
